I have photos waiting to upload, but this week I’ve either been at my desk working, or sleeping. And not enough of the latter. As soon as this deadline is passed, I’m going away from computers and email and IGBT switching waveforms for a bit, so they’ll be a while coming.
I’ve decided that July’s photographic project should be developing my own slide film. I’m...

Come back 35mm, all is forgiven?
To follow on from yesterday’s post, today I made up for spending 13 hours in the lab yesterday by leaving promptly at 5 to go soup up a roll of Ilford PanF+ I shot over the weekend. I stewed it in Rodinal at 1+50 for 12 minutes, and it’s turned out rather lovely. Even if I need to practice focusing with the LX a bit more. Will share in a few days time…

stephsphotoblog asked: In reply to your reply : Yeah, I've heard a lot of back and forth between people about Nikon and Canon over the years. When I was about to choose my first DSLR I got some really great advice. He said "pick the camera that you can use without looking at the manual every two seconds." For the actual camera itself, Nikons are so intuitive and logical so it was a no-brainer for me.
